  • Otfans got moved to a new server, somethings that are weird for me that it isn’t anymore supported by Tliff, but anyway, the most exciting new thing of this server isn’t visible for the users is that Otfans now run on a FreeBSD server instead of a Linux one.
  • Due to the change of DNS OtVote got down, and still isn’t known when it is going to get fixed.
  • Otservnews V3 done and running
  • Some bugfixes at Otservnews V3
  • Ferrus ported the Otserv development branch to work with Tibia 7.6. AWESOME! Old School Tibians will be happy with this, I say :D

    1. First of all, GriZzm0 from Gizlog finally put up Otserv.org that was offline for some months after Tliff’s server hack.
    2. Someone has released a portion of code that is for update the IP address of the hoster automatically, although it was severely critiqued for using Javascript, runs other process and other things.
    3. The Fike announces that OTC project is cancelled. Name changed to Tibia Tiny Client for change YATC name to OTClient (?)
    4. nfries88 put out the initiative to make a public domain sprite file that doesn’t inflict with the Cipsoft copyright over Tibia graphics. Personally I think that this was necessary since long time ago by some applications alike OTC -deprecated-, YATC, Otserv, and other several applications that depends of this copyrighted file.
    5. Otservnews v3 will be out sooner, some beta testing is being done by DeathfireD, Arkold Thos (me) and I guess that many more people. Will be out sooner.
    6. Otserv SVN is totally updated to use newest Tibia protocol.
    7. New revscriptsys is being developed.
    8. This isn’t an otserv-specific news, but is great for us too. Now you are able to download tarballs though the SVN view web interfase.
    9. The one who was the best great Senior Moderator on Otfans for more than a year and an half is back with his position, he is, ME!

    I don’t know but something that I would _LOVE_ to see is a feature freeze, a bug finding contest and see 0.7.0 Otserv final release out, just want to create an stable package for Debian, and it will not run 0.6.0 of course.
