Just seen in BestBuy that the release date of Final Fantasy Versus XIII for Playstation 3 is 6/20/2010. Hurray!

This video was released few days ago, it looks way very nice, but I hope the experience on playing it is fun. I never played Uncharted 1, and didn’t bought Playstation 3 bundle with it because I didn’t found it interesting, but I will think about renting it.

You need to start downloading ushare and the dependencies

sudo apt-get install ushare

Then

sudo nano /etc/ushare.conf

Or easier

Ubuntu: gksu gedit /etc/ushare.conf
Kubuntu: kdsu kate /etc/ushare.conf

And change the following lines

# uShare UPnP Friendly Name (default is ‘uShare’).
USHARE_NAME=ANYTHINGYOUWANT

# Directories to be shared (space or CSV list).
# Ex: USHARE_DIR=/dir1,/dir2
USHARE_DIR=/YOUR/PATH

# Use DLNA profile (yes/no)
# This is needed for PlayStation3 to work (among other devices)
ENABLE_DLNA=yes

Then just run it!

ushare -x

Done this and working perfectly with my Playstation 3, should work with other compatible devices as Xbox 360

Playstation 3 to have a future discount?

Yesterday a friend of my dad was buying on Best Buy a Playstation 3 for me because he travels alot to USA, when he asked for it, Best Buy seller told him that Playstation 3 was going to have 100$ USD discount at the begin of June (maybe to be announced on E3?), I doubt the price of the Playstation 3 (80GBs) go to 299$ USD seriously, but what about if they release a more basic version of it? What do you think?… Since I want to play, I told he to buy it anyway , can’t wait another month.
